Application Development and Maintenance

The ACIS Application Development and Maintenance (AD&M) Services for Allianz UK, was established in 2003 and offers a wide range of services across 20+ technologies. The services include Application Development, Application Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Process Consultancy, Testing and Validation, Packaged Application Services, Platform and Data Migration Services etc.

In the year 2008 decision was taken to expand ACIS AD&M offerings to other Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) as well and currently supports 11 entities; namely Allianz Deutschland, Allianz SE, Allianz Managed Operations & Services, Allianz Global Corporate & Speciality, AZ Ireland, Allianz RE, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, Euler Hermes, Allianz World Wide Care, Allianz Asia Pacific, and Allianz Australia.

Today ACIS is one of the key shared service centres of the Allianz Group, supporting entities across the globe in the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Australia regions. The central shared services entity of the Allianz Group - Allianz Managed Operations & Services (AMOS SE) has also established its branch in India that operates out of ACIS.

ACIS AD&M promotes a unique engagement model offering a ‘One Team’ approach with its customers, providing integration and collaboration at each and every level of the organisation structure, by having roles and responsibilities which are complimented by the core competencies of each location.

In its journey to become the ‘Best in Class’, ACIS AD&M has adopted CMMI best practices and got accredited at the Level 5, the highest level of maturity under the process improvement framework promoted by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

It is the first within the Allianz Group in this respect and is testament to the "On-Time, On-Cost and On-Spec" plus global delivery principles. ACIS AD&M also follows information security practices which are certified under the ISO 27001/BS7799 standards.

ACIS AD&M continuously benchmark the delivery performance against industry standards, which is performing in the top quartile of industry trends. The excellent NPS ratings and CSAT score of each engagement under ACIS OE is a statement of acceptance of ACIS AD&M service capability within the Allianz Group.

CMMI : Journey Towards Process Excellence

  • 2005 - AD&M successfully assessed at SEI CMMI Maturity Level 3
  • 2007 - AD&M successfully assessed at SEI CMMI v1.1 Maturity Level 5
  • 2011 - AD&M has been certified at CMMI Level 5 of SEI CMMI Version 1.3 on 2012, the highest maturity level in the capability maturity model integrated (CMMI).
  • We are the 8th Organisation in the World assessed at Level 5 of SEI CMMI Version 1.3, the latest process model introduced by SEI.
  • We are the First in the World, getting assessed at Level 5, using SCAMPI A Ver 1.3, the new assessment methodology introduced by SEI in 2011.
